My Honest Thoughts

This deck holds a very special place in my journey. I would honestly say this is my first official tarot deck.

Tarot decks were very scarce where I grew up — especially being on the other side of the world and in a religious environment where tarot is often seen as something negative or even taboo. So finding this deck, tucked away at the very back of a local bookstore, and it being the only one there… felt like a miracle. I genuinely took it as a sign.

I’ve always been drawn to anything with a Victorian-era aesthetic, so this deck was already a winner for me from the start. And when I finally connected with it, it just made sense.

It’s also not your typical “scary” or dark tarot deck, which gives it a very friendly and approachable personality. That really shows in readings, especially with my querents. The messages come through in a softer, more welcoming way, which helps people open up more easily.

Looking back, this deck didn’t just introduce me to tarot — it made me feel like I belonged in it.
